Medion AG is a German consumer electronics company, part of Lenovo Group. As a gaming machine, Medion akoya p6635(MD98068) has some of the most advanced laptop technology(just like BMW,Mercedes outstanding performance among all types of cars), because video games are so demanding, specifications have to be up to the task. Part of its appeal is that Medion 's fastest laptop chips. On top of this, Medion has packed the MD98068 with a whopping 8GB of RAM(up to 16GB). Most conventional i7 laptops still only come with Sandy Bridge (2nd gen)and the difference was clear as soon as we loaded up our benchmark tests. The Ivy bridge screamed through the performance part of our testing easily and as soon as we loaded up some gaming, the Nvidia GeForce graphics card joined in. The M98068 carries a GeForce GT 630 GPU that offers an extra 2GB of dedicated video memory and is powerful enough to play even the latest games on the highest detail settings. Even if you'''re not a gamer, you might consider the German corporate professional MD98068 for desktop publishing or editing purposes. The power under the hood means this laptop works just as well for music, photo or high-definition video editing. One of the most impressive feature is this 3rd gen i7 laptop is low power consumption (longer battery life) and future proof

Medion 3rd Gen laptop
The Medion Akoya P6635 is the perfect product for the budget conscious. Affordable, with a few sacrifices to keep price down, but all around excellent value for money. for anyone on a budget looking for a reliable machine with the latest components, this is an excellent value proposition at AUD$799.

Medion Akoya P6635
The CPU and graphics departments of this laptop are very strong and actually recorded better results than the comparable ASUS and HP laptops. This doesn't make the Medion better than those laptops just because it's cheaper and faster in those areas ... and you pay a low price for a laptop that may not be as refined as more expensive models, but it will still be able to do just as good a job when it comes to processing and graphics tasks, and it's backed by a two-year manufacturer's warranty. It's also upgradeable. In short, it's well worth considering, but you'll need to get in quick. - PC World Review
